The Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles is much more than the home of the Lakers, Clippers and Kings. It's a year-round hotspot for concerts, events, dining and entertainment. That means parking can be tricky, particularly during big events. The arena district has about 3,500 parking spaces on site and there are another more than 16,000 parking spaces within a roughly 10-minute walk.
Use a Staples Center garage or take public transit
During events at the Staples Center, Nokia Theater and the Convention Center, on-site garages charge a
flat rate between $10 and $30, depending on the event. Valet is available for an additional fee. To see more details and a map,

Another option, depending on where you're coming from, is the Dash bus (Route and times information
here.) Or you can ride your bike and park it at racks available down the ramp at the parking garage near Olympic Boulevard and Francisco Street.
Book discounted Staples Center parking in advance
Another option: Book a space at a privately owned parking facility a short walk from the arena. Many of the lots offer more affordable rates and easier access, and if you buy in advance your space is guaranteed to be waiting for you. Rates range from about $8 up to $30 depending on the event and proximity to the arena. Find your event below to explore available rates and locations:
