Don't let a parking headache diminish the magic of your Disney vacation in Florida or California. Find parking tips, policies and rate information below.

Disney World parking in Florida

Parking is free for guests of Walt Disney World Resort hotels, though valet services are available for an additional fee at select properties. Resort guests also get free parking at each of the parks, though most wisely choose to use the Disney Transportation System. The buses run regular routes between each hotel and theme park and drop you off closer to your destination.

If you're staying outside the resort, you pay to park once per day and can move your car to any of the theme parks, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios or Disney's Animal Kingdom. Those who purchase Park Hopper theme-park tickets may use the Disney Transportation System to travel between the parks. Daily parking rates are $14 for a car or motorcycle, $15 for motor homes and $18 for buses. You may have to park far away from the park, but trams are running constantly to shuttle you the rest of the way to your destination.

Parking at the Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon water parks is free to all guests, though most resort guests use the Disney Transportation System so they don't have to park far afield. There is no fee for parking at Downtown Disney, though there's no shuttle from there to the theme parks in part to discourage guests from trying to save a few bucks on parking.
